LAW STUDENT ADVOCATES

Law student advocates are volunteers who can commit to giving at least 5 hours per week to assist CLA. Positions are filled at the start of each semester and at the start of summer. Not for credit.

LAW STUDENT CLINIC PLACEMENT

CLA welcomes law students who are interested in working for academic credit through their law school’s clinical program.

Hours and requirements vary by school and course, so please consult with your clinical program office before contacting CLA. Interested students should submit a resumé and 1-page summary of their school’s clinical program and requirements. Please include the contact information for the clinical program director or other relevant point of contact. Submit by email at Director@Communitylegalaccess.org

SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Law students can apply to be a full-time CLA summer intern. Students assist with client intakes, and research.

** All above programs can also be applied to public interest, computer programming, nonprofit, business development students as well.
